安樂(lè)哲《經(jīng)典儒學(xué)核心概念》是一部以嶄新宏大的文化視野,采用中西比較哲學(xué)闡釋法,面向全球推出的經(jīng)典儒家哲學(xué)核心概念術(shù)語(yǔ)工具書(shū)。辭典涵蓋經(jīng)典儒學(xué)關(guān)鍵哲學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)近百個(gè),將其置于中國(guó)原有的文化闡釋域境中,還原出它們本來(lái)的真實(shí)內(nèi)涵,這無(wú)論是對(duì)世界了解儒學(xué),還是對(duì)中國(guó)對(duì)外講述儒學(xué),都將是一部前所未有、發(fā)蒙起蔽的跨文化闡釋哲學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)工具書(shū)。

 

本書(shū)從中西哲學(xué)比較的角度出發(fā),收錄了92個(gè)儒學(xué)關(guān)鍵術(shù)語(yǔ),每一詞條先給出英文對(duì)應(yīng)詞,再以《說(shuō)文》等為依據(jù)訓(xùn)詁,最后結(jié)合儒學(xué)經(jīng)典用英文進(jìn)行闡釋。本書(shū)的宗旨在于糾正西方對(duì)中國(guó)文化的誤讀。

 

作者認(rèn)為:中西思想傳統(tǒng)各有自己一套獨(dú)特的哲學(xué)語(yǔ)匯,這套哲學(xué)語(yǔ)匯在各自文化語(yǔ)義環(huán)境中自圓其說(shuō)而不可直接相互翻譯,由于雙方對(duì)彼此原本語(yǔ)義結(jié)構(gòu)性差別的忽略,在以往中西哲學(xué)直接相互翻譯過(guò)程中,存在著大量的文化不對(duì)稱(chēng)誤讀、誤判;例如將儒學(xué)“天”誤讀為西方基督教的“Heaven”(“天堂”)一詞、將“禮”作為基督教的“ritual”(“宗教禮儀”)等。因此,僅靠詞對(duì)詞的翻譯,難以達(dá)到有效的溝通。

 

要使西方人恰當(dāng)?shù)乩斫庵袊?guó)儒學(xué),就必須顧及中西思想傳統(tǒng)各自文化語(yǔ)義環(huán)境的不同結(jié)構(gòu),采取比照彼此語(yǔ)義文化環(huán)境的闡釋方法,“使翻譯與闡釋相結(jié)合,以闡釋為主,翻譯為輔”。用這一方法,將不同思想傳統(tǒng)的重要哲學(xué)語(yǔ)匯、概念框架,放到各自文化語(yǔ)義環(huán)境中去進(jìn)行二者差別的比照闡釋?zhuān)酶髯苑钦軐W(xué)性的自然語(yǔ)言闡釋彼此的一套特有哲學(xué)語(yǔ)匯;以此較為恰當(dāng)?shù)乇磉_(dá)中國(guó)儒學(xué)和中國(guó)思想文化,進(jìn)而完成從中國(guó)向西方傳達(dá)思想的工作。

 

【作者簡(jiǎn)介】

 

 

 

安樂(lè)哲,1947年出生于加拿大多倫多,世界著名中西比較哲學(xué)家,國(guó)際知名漢學(xué)大師,孔子研究院特聘專(zhuān)家,山東省“儒學(xué)大家”。曾任夏威夷大學(xué)哲學(xué)系教授,現(xiàn)任北京大學(xué)哲學(xué)系人文講席教授,世界儒學(xué)文化研究聯(lián)合會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng),國(guó)際儒學(xué)聯(lián)合會(huì)副會(huì)長(zhǎng),尼山圣源書(shū)院顧問(wèn),北京中外文化交流研究基地首席專(zhuān)家。2013年因其對(duì)中國(guó)思想多年來(lái)的出色研究獲得“孔子文化獎(jiǎng)”。2016年,榮獲第二屆“會(huì)林文化獎(jiǎng)”。2018年榮獲“文明之光·2018中國(guó)文化交流年度人物”;并榮獲“北京大學(xué)燕園友誼獎(jiǎng)”;2019年榮獲“杜威學(xué)術(shù)學(xué)會(huì)2019終身成就獎(jiǎng)”;2021年榮獲“中國(guó)政府友誼獎(jiǎng)”。安樂(lè)哲教授翻譯了《論語(yǔ)》、《大學(xué)》、《中庸》、《道德經(jīng)》、《孝經(jīng)》、《淮南子》、《孫子兵法》等書(shū)而蜚聲海內(nèi)外,著有:《先賢的民主:杜威、孔子與中國(guó)民主之希望》《通過(guò)漢代而思》《主術(shù):中國(guó)古代政冶制度之研究》《通過(guò)孔子而思》等。
